Blackridge Privacy Policy
26 Oct 2026 · @Team
1. Important disclaimer
Blackridge is a business and legal consultation agency. Blackridge is not a law firm and does not practise law or provide legal representation.
The information in this Privacy Policy is for informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Blackridge. If you require legal assistance, please consult a qualified attorney.
Where a service needs an advocate, chartered accountant, company secretary or other licensed professional, the work is carried out by an independent professional or associate. Blackridge coordinates the service on your behalf.
2. Who we are and what this policy covers
This policy explains how Blackridge Consultancy ("Blackridge", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data. Blackridge operates under Consult Guild Strategies and is based at Blackridge Group, Bhagheeratha Square, Banerji Road, Kacheripady, Kochi – 682018, Kerala, India.
It applies to personal data we handle through:

  • our website, www.blackridge.in, including its forms, client portal, online booking and chat assistant

  • phone calls, WhatsApp, email and in-person meetings at our office

  • the services we provide, such as company, LLP, partnership and proprietorship registration, GST and Udyam, trademark and IP filings, licences, certifications, virtual address services, compliance and consultation

For these purposes, Blackridge acts as a Data Fiduciary: we decide why and how your personal data is processed.
Laws we follow
We handle personal data in line with Indian law, including:

  • the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and the rules made under it

  • the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it

  • the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016, as it applies to the handling of Aadhaar copies

By using our website or services, you confirm that you have read this policy. Where the law requires your consent, we ask for it separately and clearly.
3. Personal data we collect

4. How we use your data, and on what basis
We use your personal data only for the purposes below:

  1. To deliver the service you request. This includes preparing documents, filing applications with government portals, tracking their status and responding to queries from authorities.

  2. To manage your account and orders. This includes creating your client profile, recording orders, issuing invoices and receipts, and providing access to your documents through the client portal.

  3. To communicate with you. We contact you by phone, WhatsApp, SMS or email about your service, documents we need, payments, renewals and expiry dates.

  4. To meet legal obligations. This includes keeping records required under tax, company and other laws, and responding to lawful requests from authorities.

  5. To keep our services secure. This includes preventing fraud, misuse and duplicate submissions.

  6. To improve our services and website. We use aggregated or anonymised data where possible.

  7. To send updates about our services. We send promotional messages only with your consent, and you can opt out at any time.

Consent
Where we rely on your consent, our forms include clear declarations that you accept before submitting. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us (see section 8). Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out. It may, however, mean we cannot complete a service that depends on that data.
We may also process data without separate consent where Indian law allows it, for example to comply with a legal obligation or a court order.
